Game On!

In case the title didn't give it away.... we're getting married! Lewis proposed on April 7th in Knoxville in true Big Orange fashion. Lewis bought a personalized UT football jersey with "Harkness" on the back and gave it me.... on bended knee. Oh yeah... and did I mention the RING?? Wow. It's beautiful!!!!! He did a great job.

There were about 40 or so of my family members there to see all of this take place, which was the true icing on the cake. I couldn't have been more surprised or thrilled!

So as they say.... today is the first day of the rest of our lives. Please check back to see our progress on the wedding plans. We hope this site will serve as a place of information for our family and friends.

Congratulations! I apologize for being so late congratulating you. I've been reading and looking at all the pictures in your wedding blog and both of your personal blogs. Where to start...eventhough I've never had the pleasure of meeting Lewis I can tell by his writings and photos that he is one hell of a guy. The kind of guy that people want to be around because he has that undeniable charisma that draws them there. His is that guy that other guys want to call friend. I can also tell in your photos that he has found true happiness with you and you with him. The both of you look great together and I wish you many, many more years of mornings spent enjoying coffee together, days cruising the open roads and Saturday afternoons in the fall hanging out with a 100,000 or so of your closest friends.
